Here's my little selection of Aloe Vera books that I think you will find invaluable. In relation to Aloe and animals I hugely recommend vet David Urch's brilliant book ALOE VERA NATURE'S GIFT.
His dedication at the beginning of the 2nd (2006) edition says everything for me as to where his heart is - which I think it will do for you too:
'This book is dedicated to all the animals I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with, for the uncomplicated gratitude they have shown, and for the smiles and tears they have brought me.'
David's book is 248 pages long and is an absolute goldmine of facts and insights about aloe and animals, large and small. It is written as a result of his own practical experience using Aloe Vera in veterinary practice.
Whether your pet's problem is kennel cough, cat flu, mud fever, equine herpes virus, cow pox - or any one of dozens of other conditions - David has it covered!
Whether a chinchilla, a ferret, a fish or a bird, it is almost certain to feature in ALOE VERA NATURE'S GIFT by David Urch ...
Happy reading!
P.S. You'll see from the carousel that an Aloe Vera plant is also available here, if you'd like one for your windowsill ...
