ALOE VERA CREAM

Bookmark and Share

It might seem strange to start a page about Aloe Vera Cream with an Aloe Liquid Soap – but that’s still where I plan to start!

Why? Because basically my page is also about aloe skincare, which is best begun with this product that is actually much more than just soap.

It is a luxurious natural moisturising cleanser with a mild formula that prepares the skin perfectly for the subsequent application of creams and lotions.

This applies especially when there is a skin problem such as eczema or psoriasis.

(It is also ideal to use when shaving - gentle enough for the face and kind to sensitive skin.)

Aloe Propolis Creme

Let’s move from cleansing to creams and lotions, beginning with a great favourite: this rich, creamy blend of Aloe Vera, Bee Propolis, chamomile and comfrey does more than moisturise and condition your skin. It also soothes irritated skin, leaving a protective barrier that makes it ideal for dry skin (including eczema and psoriasis).

Nurses among my customers (who so often have their hands in water) tend to love it for the protection it gives!

As I am concentrating chiefly on skin 'creams' here, I'll just give you links to other products of interest to most skins - starting with handy little Aloe Lips.

When it comes to caring for your skin, another 'must' is Aloe Vera Gelly. You'll see why when you click the link!

Let’s look next at the superb Aloe Moisturising Lotion that, like Aloe Lotion, comes into the general category of Aloe Vera Cream.

It is rich in texture and lightly fragranced to provide all over moisturisation for the face, hands and body. Its collagen and elastin keep the skin feeling smooth, soft and supple – and, in case this is an issue for you, it does not contain lanolin.

(Both this and the Aloe Lotion are also suitable for people prone to eczema and psoriasis.)

Aloe Lotion – which does contain lanolin – is a soothing moisturiser for the face and body with the highest concentration of pure stabilised Aloe, plus jojoba oil, collagen, elastin and vitamin E.

Finer in texture than the Moisturising Lotion, it soothes minor skin conditions and is an excellent aftersun moisturiser.

Aloe Heat Lotion is a luxury massage lotion providing blissful relief from aches and pains, especially after a workout.

Excellent warming lotion ideal for painful joints, sprains and sporting injuries. Can be helpful for headaches when applied to the temples.

Aloe Sunscreen has a Sun Protection Factor of 30 and is a silky smooth waterproof formula that retains SPF for 40 minutes in water.

It soothes and protects against sun and wind to make it an ideal aftersun. Excellent for children and exposed noses in animals – and acts as a natural insect repellent.

Although it doesn’t pretend to be an aloe vera cream, I can’t avoid mentioning of Aloe First. Click the link to see why it’s the first product I instinctively reach for in an emergency! This soothing spray is perfect for children and even the most sensitive skins.

Aloe MSM Gel definitely deserves a mention. Click its link if your joints and muscles need soothing!

Aloe Deep Moisturising Cream

Finally I simply must make space for this product that Forever Living have recently introduced to their Sonya Skincare range: Aloe Deep Moisturising Cream does such wonders for my skin!

Why? It quenches the skin's thirst for moisture. Contains pine bark extract with OPCs (Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins) containing some of the strongest antioxidant properties in nature.

This combats free radicals to help preserve and strengthen the skin's collagen, the most abundant protein in the body. In my opinion I look ten years younger since using it daily!

Perhaps if this progress continues I’ll eventually be 20 again …
