SOOTHING ALOE
In my view there’s nothing like soothing Aloe for helping in a particular kind of crisis!
The kind that comes immediately to mind is when a frantic young mother rang me to say her child’s chicken pox spots were causing terrible problems. Little Fiona’s skin was itching unbearably and she was scratching all the time. Camomile lotion hadn’t helped and nor had anything else – because it involved touching her, and Fiona couldn’t bear to be touched!
But she kept scratching herself and now was bleeding in one or two places as well. Could I help?
My answer was “Yes!”
So round to their house I went, clutching some Aloe First. This is an easy to use spray that’s ideal for hard to reach places … and for people or animals suffering with burns or a skin condition that is resistant for any reason to actual contact. It soothes irritation, burns, rashes, bites and stings - and cools prickly heat.
It’s perfect for chicken pox – as Fiona and her mum soon agreed!
Before long, Fiona was pleading “More, Mummy, more!” and smiling for the first time all day. The itching stopped, so likewise the scratching and mother and daughter were happy.
I was happy too – firstly because it’s always rewarding to see such swift results and secondly because the incident resulted in an order for no less than 12 Aloe Firsts! Why? Fiona’s mum planned to give one to every friend with a child at an age when chicken pox was a threat.
And this was not an unusual order. That’s the kind of enthusiasm I’ve come to expect since first discovering soothing aloe!
P.S. Fiona’s skin healed without any scarring from the ‘pox’.
